Lilli Halttunen, born August 12th, 2005, in Espoo, Finland, is a forward for Linköping FC. She first captured international attention in the UEFA U17 Championship qualifiers, where her ability to exploit defensive gaps and take scoring opportunities signaled the arrival of a new talent on the global stage.
She began her football journey at grassroots club Espoo before joining the youth academy of HJK Helsinki, where she honed her technical skills and tactical awareness alongside Finland’s top talents.
At just 16, she made her Kansallinen Liiga debut for HJK’s senior side in 2022, quickly establishing herself as a clinical forward. Over 43 league appearances, she scored 16 goals, cementing her as a unique talent.
On 29 October 2024 she made her Finland debut in a UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 play-off against Montenegro—marking the occasion with a goal in a 5–0 win. As UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 approaches, fans eagerly anticipate Halttunen’s impact on the international stage.
