Host City: Guadalajara

Guadalajara is one of Mexico’s most historic and passionate soccer cities, with a legacy that dates back to the early 20th century. It is home to two of the country’s most iconic clubs: Club Deportivo Guadalajara (Chivas), one of the most successful and widely supported teams in Mexico, and Atlas FC, known for its loyal fan base and historic youth academy. The city has long been a cradle of Mexican soccer talent and a fierce battleground for local derbies that capture national attention. Today, Guadalajara remains a cornerstone of Mexican football culture. It previously hosted matches during the 1970 and 1986 FIFA World Cups. Its stadiums: Estadio Jalisco and Estadio Akron— which will be hosting four group-stage matches from June 11 to June 24, 2026— are symbols of its long lasting soccer tradition.
