Host City: Dallas

The Dallas Tornado, a founding member of the NASL in the late 1960s, brought professional soccer to the region and laid the groundwork for future growth. The city’s commitment to the sport deepened with the establishment of FC Dallas in Major League Soccer in 1996. The club’s move to Toyota Stadium in Frisco, along with the development of the National Soccer Hall of Fame on-site, positioned Dallas as a central hub for American soccer.

Today, Dallas stands as a powerhouse in the U.S. soccer landscape, known for its top of the line youth academies, passionate fan base, and high quality facilities. The city has hosted numerous international matches, including games during the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The AT&T Stadium in Arlington will host a record breaking nine matches during the 2026 World Cup, including a semi-final, between June 14th and July 14th, 2026.

Home to the five-time Super Bowl-winning Cowboys, AT&T Stadium features 25,000 sq ft of interior video displays and iconic architectural artwork. It hosted Super Bowl XLV, NCAA Final Four (2014), and Cotton Bowl Classic, reinforcing its versatility for sport and entertainment.
